Cornell has worked his way up to a starting member of the National team following stints in Portugal. He was outstanding for Mucurapo Senior Comprehensive in the local Secondary Schools League and was the leading striker for the National Under 20 team at one point.

A former member of Futgof, Glenn has proven to be one of the more improved members of the current T&T team. He was among Jabloteh's leading scorer for the 2002 season with 12 goals.

Scored two impressive goals in CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh's 3-0 win over Scottish club Dundee in January, 2003 and then fired a hattrick for Jabloteh in their 5-2 rout of American club Chicago Fire in the 2004 CONCACAF Champions Cup, a performance which subsequently led him to his first overseas contract with the New York/New Jersey Metrostars.
