THE CHAMPION of Champions Finals, in the Churches Football League, will be staged today with a double-header at St Mary’s Ground, St Clair.

Action will get going with the First Division decider between Peoples United Fellowship and SFX A-men at 1.15 pm.

Peoples United Fellowship made a return to the League this year and topped their group in the 2014 First Division, which will see them promoted to the 2015 Premier Division.

Similarly, SFX A-men will advance to the Premier Division next season, after topping their group in this year’s First Division.

The Premier Division decider will be staged at 3 pm between Global Encounter Ministries (GEMS) and Cumuto Strike Force.

GEMS claimed the Premier Division Champion of Champions crown in 2013, and also triumphed in their Premier Division group this year. Strike Force were unbeaten in their matches in the 2014 Premier Division.

In related news, GEMS and Cumuto will also contest the Grand Knockout Final on December 6 at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya.

In their second leg semi-final matches last Saturday, GEMS earned a 3-0 default win over Greater Malabar Christian Centre, for a 11-2 aggregate win, while Cumuto destroyed Amen 7-0 for a 11-1 aggregate triumph.
