Kyle Jackson was the man on target for Joe Public, netting a beaver-trick in his team’s come from behind 7-3 humbling of Point Fortin Civic Centre in the National Youth League over the weekend.

The Civic Centre team broke the deadlock in the eighth minute, compliments of an Atiba Cudjoe strike. However, Jackson levelled the score with his first in the 14th, (1-1).

The Point Fortin team’s lead was restored by the first of Jamille Boatswain’s double in the 26th, but this only lasted for two minutes as Anton Rahim also netted the first of his two in the 28th.

No sooner had a minute passed when Boatswain found the net for the second time to give his team a 3-2 lead.

However with three minutes to go before the break, Rahim closed off his double to send the teams to the half levelled at 3-3.

It took only six minutes for Public to take the lead for good as Jackson scored his second in the 51st minute, before adding his third in the 76th for a 5-3 lead.

Christian Williams further increased the advantage with a strike in the 86th minute, before Jackson put the icing on the cake with his fourth strike in the 88th to seal the win.

This is the Eastern Lions second victory from three matches and has moved it three points behind Group A leader Club Sando, which is on nine points after winning all three of its matches.
