GLOBAL ENCOUNTER Ministries (GEMS) whipped Point Naz 3-0, in Group “A” in the Premier Division, as the Churches Football League continued recently.
Kareem Perry, Dacian John and Neal Joseph were on target, in the second half, for GEMS.
Kevon Alexander and Curtis Thomas found the back of the net for Genesis as they edged Reformation Life Centre 2-1 in another Group “A” fixture; Kevon Brathwaite got the lone strike for Reformation.
In a Group “B” contest, West End crushed Faith Assembly 5-0 courtesy of a beaver-trick from Kareem Simon, while Kyle Andrews got the other.
And Curepe Amen got past Greater Malabar Christian Centre (GMCC) 4-3 in another Group “B” meeting. Lawrence Burke netted a double for Curepe, with one apiece from Omari Nicholls and Gatsha Patrick, while Dinell Lopez, Ricardo Mattis and K Williams responded for GMCC.
There were also a quartet of games in the First Division.
In Group “A”, Cathedral FC, making a comeback into the League, got the better of Agape FC 3-1 while DAP United blanked Alpha United 5- 3.
In Group ‘B”, Gideon cruised past Woodbrook AIC 3-1 and Divine Encounter overcame St James Pentecostal 5-3.
