Malabar FC are champions of the First Division in the Emerald Apartments & Plaza-sponsored Eastern Football Association.
They clinched the title despite being held to a hard-fought 2-2 draw by Tunapuna Titans at Constantine Park, Tunapuna, on Tuesday.
Dorian Daniel sent the Malabar men ahead after 19 minutes and David Power added another in the 22nd as they appeared coasting to the title.
But Richard Seethal pulled one back for the Titans in the 53rd, and when Akil Douglas netted in the 71st it was game on.
The Titans defence held firm, however, to give them the required point in the Big Four. Meanwhile, 1st FC Santa Rosa surrendered their game against Southeastern Connection.
Action in the league for the 2010 season will end with the match between WASA FC and Maloney FC with the coveted Emerald Apartments & Plaza Cup at stake.
This game is scheduled for the Marvin Lee Stadium, Dr Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence, Macoya, Tunapuna, and is timed to kick-off at 3.30 pm.
