TYRO Sports Club will launch their Under-13 and Under-15 football leagues at their Bourg Mulatresse ground on July 9.

According to organiser, Roger “Zoff” Celestine, a combined total of $6,800 will be at stake in both leagues for which registration D-day is July 8.

In the Under-13 league, the winners will get $700, a trophy and 15 gold medals with the runners-up collecting $500 and silver medals, third gets $300 and bronze medals while the fourth will receive $100 and a trophy.

There is a $400 prize for the winners of the knorkout while the most disciplined team will get $200.

Meanwhile, at the opening of the Under-15 league, a prize of $300 and a trophy is on offer to the march past winners, with the runners-up getting $200 and third $100.

And the winning queen gets a trophy and four hampers while the runner-up gets a trophy and three hampers and third a trophy and one hamper.

League champions get $1,500, a trophy and 15 gold medals with second getting $1,000 and silver medals and third $700 and bronze medals. The fourth placed team collects $400 and a trophy.

Winners of the knockout get $600 and runners-up $300, with the most disciplined team awarded $200 and a trophy.

In both leagues, there will be trophies to the best captain, scorer of most goals, best manager, best uniformed team, best midfielder, best defender and best goalkeeper.

There is no registration fee for the Under-13s, but a fee, of $100 per team is required in the Under-15 league.
