M&M Harvard, buoyed by its first day win over former champions, WASA will hope for a another positive result when it faces Joe Public on Match Day Two of the 2009 T&T Football Federation bmobile National Super League from 4 pm today.
The clash between Harvard, 2-0 winners over WASA on Sunday last, and Joe Public which defeated St Francois Nationals 2-1 in its opener takes place at Trinity College Ground, Moka Maraval. Other first day winners who will also be seeking to maintain their 100 per cent winning record includes 1976 Phoenix, Economy Strikers and newcomers T&TEC.

Phoenix will host Club Sando looking for its second straight win at the Caanan Bon Accord Ground from 4 pm after blanking Harlem Strikers 2-0 at the same venue last week. Club Sando was on a first round bye. The biggest first day winners and leaders of the table on goal-difference, Economy Strikers is at home to Alcoa Carenage United at the Sangre Grande Recreation Ground.

The Economy Strikers blasted debutantes East/West Coaching School 4-0 led by a hat-trick from Dorian Daniel while Carenage went under to T&TEC, 2-1 in the previous round. Down at St Anthony’s College Grounds, Westmoorings, another newcomer, Queen’s Park CC will be hoping to add more misery to the “Water Boys” of WASA while Harlem Strikers and East/West face off at Frederick Settlement, in the two other matches that kick off at 4 pm. The T&TEC “Electricity Boys” will entertain, Defence Force at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella from 7 pm in the day’s other match. St Francois is on a bye.
