In form strike partners Michael Carrington and Tyrone Manning were on target for Stokely Vale when the Tobago club defeated WASA 2–0 to go top of the blink/bmobile National Super League table on Monday.

Playing at the Plymouth Recreation Ground, Carrington and Manning’s goals in either half saw their Tobago-based club leap over Club Sando in the ten team table giving the team a lift in confidence as they march into the NSL knock-out final against bmobile Joe Public.

Club Sando, however, have the opportunity to retake the lead as they travel to the Hasely Crawford Stadium Training Field, Mucurapo to challenge West Side Super Starzs from 4 pm, today.

Real Maracas will travel to the sister isle to take on 1976 FC Phoenix at Canaan, Bon Accord also at 4 pm. Then at the final fixture at 4.30 pm, bmobile Joe Public, with a match in hand, will tackle St Francois Nationals at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya. The Defence Force match against Eagles United will be postponed indefinitely.

Tobago's Stokely Vale top Super League.

Stokely Vale warmed up for Sunday's bmobile National Super League knockout final by whipping WASA FC 2-0 at Plymouth recreation ground in league action on Monday.

Tobago's Stokely Vale will meet Joe Public in the knockout final from 5 p.m. Sunday at Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet.

The match is the second of a double-header which sees another Tobago club, 1976 FC Phoenix, battling West Side Super Starz FC at 3 p.m. The teams will be playing for the fifth qualifying spot in the National FA Trophy competition.

And Super League action continues today with three matches.

Previous leaders Club Sando are among the teams seeking victory as full points will see them move back to the top of the table. They meet West Side Super Starzs from 4 p.m. at the Hasely Crawford Stadium training ground.
