Bon Accord Government and Valencia South Primary will do battle for the third semi-final spot in the boys competition of the 2009 Atlantic LNG Primary Schools Football League today at Arima Velodrome from 10 a.m.

The two teams will face off inside the Velodrome, while on the outer ground, Montgomery Government’s girls will tackle La Horquetta North Government, also at 10 a.m., for a ’semis’ spot as well.

Yesterday, former champions Arima Boys RC booked their own berth in the boys semi-finals, travelling to Tobago to thump hosts Bethesda Government 4-0.

Ronaldo Francois scored for Arima in just the second minute, while Jean Paul Roach and Isiah Lee added to the scoreline to send Arima 3-0 up at the half. Afton Molina rounded out the scoring after the break.

Arima’s reward is a tough battle against defending national and Port of Spain champions Carenage Boys Government.

On the other side of the draw, the winners of today’s boys match will face the winners of Thursday’s fixture between Gasparillo Government, who beat Newtown Boys 4-1 last week, and Santa Flora, who whipped Carapichaima 5-0.
