BLACK ROCK United scored a stunning upset when they kicked Premier League team Sidey’s out of this year’s FA Trophy series in the Tobago Football Association.

Michael Carrington’s goal in Thursday’s match was enough to see the Western Conference Black Rock men through to the next round.

On Tuesday afternoon, however, Premier League leaders Georgia were given a big scare when they were held 1-1 by Eastern Conference third placed team Mason Hall United Soccer School.

The league leaders had to win it 6-5 on penalty kicks after Shey Jerry’s goal was equalised by Caston Cupid (Mason Hall).

Bethel Uprising of the Western Conference also scored an upset of sorts, ousting Premier League bottom club Classic Tours Goodwood United 3-1 on penalties after the teams finished 1-1 in regular time.

Marvin Wright scored for the Goodwood team while Nigel Des Vignes netted the goal to knot up the match.

But Lambeau, bottom of the Western Conference table were clobbered 10-2 by Premier League team Castara Retreats Goal City.

Kenyon Manswell netted three goals, Marvin Lewis and Shurland Phillips two each and Andrew Williams, Jesse Henry and Kerlon Ferguson one apiece for the winners. Ancil Campbell got both for Lambeau.

Lowly Premier Leaguers Earlbrokes shut out Leeds United 4-0 with Deon Thomas scoring a double and Uriah Palmer and Tyronne Manning the other goals. Dominion SS Golden Lane were made to scramble home 3-2 ahead of Eastern Conference Mason Hall Police Youth Club. Roger George, Kurtnell Joseph and Javon Quash netted for the Premier League team while Kevonn Adams and Christopher Steward were the scorers for PYC.
