Tomorrow, DIRECTV brings live and exclusive coverage of our Women Soca Warriors as they confront Ecuador in the World Cup final qualifying match. At 4pm the girls will kick off in Quito, and represent Trinidad and Tobago in the intercontinental play-off.

After experiencing various hurdles on their journey, the girls are still in the race with their eyes on the final.

“We will make a happy ending to this story,” said Maylee Attin-Johnson, captain of the team.

“We have pushed the top teams in CONCACAF to the end; and that’s with limited preparation. We have not played with our full team throughout this tournament but each player that was called upon stepped up big time. We have a great group of resilient young ladies and I’m super proud of each and every one of them.”

Committed to their aim of providing the most comprehensive worldwide coverage of football, DIRECTV will offer a programming line-up of football leagues like La Liga on DIRECTV Sports and ESPN, Barclay’s Premiere League on Sportsmax, and German league Bundesliga on DIRECTV Sports and ESPN.

Subscribers who have DVRs will also have the advantage of recording games that overlap on different channels so that they never miss a thing.

Football fans can start the day early on Saturday with nail biting games such as Liverpool vs Chelsea on Sportsmax as well as a number of other Barclay’s Premier League games and in the afternoon, Real Madrid will be in action on ESPN.
