Ray Collymore netted the lone goal as Las Lomas edged past Cap Off Youths 1-0 at Hugo Francis Recreation Ground, Woodford Lodge, on Tuesday to keep slim hopes alive of lifting the $10,000 CRILLE-sponsored Central Football Association Premier Division crown.

Collymore’s goal came in the 79th minute to carry Las Lomas to 29 points from 17 matches, eight adrift of leaders Enterprise Youths, while second-placed Cunupia FC has 35 points.
 
Edinburgh 500 and Leeds are next with 31 points each from 17 and 16 matches respectively, just ahead of sixth-placed Las Lomas. The winners of the CFA Premier Division will also qualify for the T&T Football Federation “Champion of Champions” competition from which three teams will qualify for the blink/bmobile National Super League. Second gets $5,000, third, $3,000 and fourth, $2,000.
