ST JOHN’S, ANTIGUA: Trinidad and Tobago have remained the number one team in the Caribbean Football Union, in the latest rankings released yesterday.

Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) employee Anton Corneal has stepped down the post as Technical Director (TD) of T&T football because of the TTFA short-comings and inability to fulfill their financial obligations to the former T&T Strike Squad player.

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association on behalf of the local football fraternity yesterday offers its condolences to the family of now deceased former President of the Republic, Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson.

Australia's bid team for the 2022 World Cup have been accused by a whistleblower of paying the disgraced former FIFA vice-president, Jack Warner, half a million Australian dollars (around £274,000) in the belief that he would vote for them.

Over 150 youngsters from 12 primary schools took part in the two-hour exercise, as the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association took its Youth Football Community clinics to  the Debe High School Grounds  on Saturday.

Following several incidents including the death of ex-national player Kevon Carter, Fifa together with the University of Saarland in Germany have started work on a register of cases of sudden deaths, that involved footballers.

Terrence Marcelle, a former Pleasantville Secondary and Trinidad and Tobago national youth team football coach, has a passion for developing youths and the qualifications to place him in the top echelons of local coaches in that field.
