Thanks guys.

Woodley is 37. He scored in both games. Where was he 5 or 10 years ago? His fitness can be a barrier to the getting on the NT

Where was he ? Hiding in plain sight. Remember, 5/10 years ago TTFF/TTFA was rubbish.

Showtime should have been given a chance before Rundell and Malcolm Shaw...though he is old, I think he should be given a chance going forward...mis dos centavos

A buddy in TT told me that right now Showtime  is the best center forward/striker in TT. However the age factor is an issue. But if push come to shove, and he outperforming every body, he should be on the team. Honestly I think he should get a try, especially against a so-called weaker team.

Those who witnessed the game, what is your opinions. I did not see the game.

Matthew Woo Ling (D/Force),

Did not know he joined the DF. I watched a couple of DF games last season and can't remember seeing him play for them. But I think  it is a good move on his part.

Are these the seeded teams ?

8
It's literally the bare minimum to qualify.

If I was to argue with You about this statement, hit me over meh head. But Breds, I will take this over zero participation. Again the development has to start in primary schools. And I SINCERELY  hope the current juniors athletes  will be ready for LA. I don't see any 100, 200(Jareem ????), 400 men or women doing anything in Paris. We can never be ready for the 4 year cycle. Never.

9
Well, Men's 4x400 and women's 4x100 will be going to Paris.

Laventille united,Rsssr fc and Central  soccer world do not have division 1 teams. Rc eagles(Real central eagles) according to their facebook page are meant to be playing in the division 2. However, it seem as though Eagles fc are playing instead of them. So how are these teams playing in the division 2. As far as I know there wasn"t a press release.

Breds, I can't answer that. But I just read that in the First Citizen Cup knock out competition, QPCC DIVII, defeated Caledonia. FC Phoenix Div One  lost to Cunupia Eagles 3-1. All the other games the Div One teams won.

Does anybody know how the teams were  selected for this year's ttpfl tier 2 division?

The club from the Div1 of the previous TTFA were assigned to Div.2 of the new TTFA. The pro-league clubs were assigned Div1. status. Some exceptions were Cunupia Eagles and 1976 Phoenix. They were assign to Div.1.  Jabloteh and W Connection of the old proleague were given permission to sit out until they get their finances squared off. So Maybe next season we will see both clubs in Div1.

What do they have in store for Women football ?

@g.o.p. I don't know what to say what we should do to improve in the Carifta games. A TT footballer who ran HS track at QRC complained that a substantial amount primary schools are not doing PE or sports  curriculum. Many don't have sports day any more. When they do go to secondary school many or most have to do  catch up. That is why there is a paucity of TF athletes from TT.

Every event in Carifta has a least two JA. Sometimes even Bahamas has two athletes in many events. We can't even field a 4x400 girls consistently. Very few hurdles. I have never seen a pole vaulter, junior or senior. This year I did not see shot put or discuss. Javelin.

Another things is the current gangsterism in TT. It is having an effect on lots of students. Especially AfroTT kids. Videos with fights in schools. Total lack of discipline. How do we expect these children to focus on TF. And I think TF is a much harder sport than team sports.

Deeks Chinapoo eunning his mouth also.

Well let's put it this way. He did say he training to beat the JAs because one JA said the competition is soft. So Mr. Chinapoo do know he has to back up his words with action. He knows he has to train hard and produce. Good luck and plenty Blessings to him.

Breds, what can I say. What's in a name.

Next time you go to the gym, listen to some hard-core hip hop then try Soca. You'll see which one pushes you more.

I beg to differ. Pumped up Soca in a gym or in the water aerobics can take on any genre of music.

So in summary brother, to answer your question, the reason for sabotage of our football, was written before JW, continued with JW and is after JW as well.

Contro. I honestly admire your historical perspective on things and issues of TT. And I hoping I can meet You one of these days. But I am still a bit bewildered by your statement that even before Jack, FIFA and them wanted to keep down TT.

The only thing that impede us moving forward to upset the apple cart, IS WE. Not FIFA, is WE TT. All the successful football nations in Concacaf get backing from within. Business and government for finance and the citizens for backing in the stands. They have to work in tandem. That eh happening now. In 74 when the team almost went to the first Germany WC, who was TT president? Ken Galt. A former TT player who worked for Massy. He was able to get money for that squad. When the 74 Youth went Canada to play Concacaf U19, TTFA pull out all the stops to prepare the team. We came in third behind Mexico and Cuba. In 74 we won the silver medal in the CAC games. So the problem is We.

Allyuh real desperate. Blaming the the nickname. Soca Warriors is the name that took US to the WC. The name is not the issue. It is the lack of talent and poor quality of our game. Soca Warriors is or was about an underdog rising to the occasion. The smallest country in the world(in population and physically size) taking on the giants  of football. If allyuh so desperate, why not TT Bullets. It is quite appropriate for the current times in TT. Real kill.

26
Our nation is rich

Really ? East of the Dry River did not get that message of our richness. We rich in killers and murderers. We all can attest to that fact.

27
Select players who can pass under and without pressure. Select players who show mental and physical strength in defense and attack.

Breds, not in this era.

28
Our football is controlled by outside because previous local admin football admin(Jack, Camps, John_williams, Wallace f**ked up. Plain and simple. Also included are those locals who called for the FIFA NC and afterwards regretted that decision.

Soca Warrior Real Gill saddened over Harpe Place shooting.
By Jelani Beckles (T&T Newsday).

Very close to my neighbourhood of upper Quarry St. Anytime You come down Quarry st., You must  bounce up Observatory street. The Harpe right on the other side. You could  go thru there to get to Renegades. All those who burying their heads in the sand about the violence and self imposed annililation in Afro Trini society should think again.
