It is not hard to figure out that Brazil has a problem scoring goals. They have superior ball possession, but they are missing a "midas-touch" player at the moment. So far Neymar is unable to find his mark. I hope next game they score one goal more than the opposing team, or else "bye-bye Rio" for them. The Brazilian Federation must figure out why is this problem keep occurring for big tournaments. Do they need to go in the different parts of the country and other sections of the city to unearth the extraordinary talent. Because this crop of players are not living up to the standard that is expected of a Brazilian team.
I have doubts regarding the policy of including overage players. Perhaps what's needed is an age limit on the players older than U23.
Obi Mikel is proving himself an exception, but not so sure he isn't the odd old man out.
Son Heung-Min has been good. He jes turned 24. Neymar is a '92 as well. But, Oribe Peralta is too ole a foot and not a first-choice inclusion.
Will have a closer look at the players the European nations have included.
I think the overage players should be under 30.
