Good question.. Because the only friendly that has been announced is Mexico.. So far the only person who knows about Panama and Bolivia is flex..

Right now everyone else is in the dark about that and TTFA continues its secrecy program where they are not revealing info to the public..

T&T, Haiti in two-leg playoff for ‘Copa’ spot.
By Ian Prescott (Express).

Trinidad and Tobago is likely to play Haiti on October 13 in the first of a two-leg playoff for a spot in the 2016 Copa America Centenario, which will be held next year in the United States.

The 16-nation Centenario is scheduled to run from June 3-26 and would include the ten South American national teams and six invited teams from CONCACAF, including the USA and Mexico.

Representing South America will be Brazil, Argentina, Bolivi, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

CONCACAF representatives so far are Mexico, USA, Costa Rica and Jamaica. Either Trinidad and Tobago or Haiti, and either of Panama or Cuba will fill the final two berths via two, two-leg playoff series.

Yesterday, Williams Wallace, manager of the Trinidad and Tobago senior team, disclosed that CONCACAF were seeking to schedule the first leg of the playoff with Haiti for one of the international friendly days in October.

Meanwhile, South America countries are eager to play the competition, despite an ongoing bribery investigation, their president Juan Angel Napout indicated. The 16-nation tournament was jeopardised when American prosecutors alleged massive bribery in international football, including a scheme linked to a US$112.5 million broadcasting deal for the one-off event to celebrate CONMEBOL’s 100th birthday.

“We wish that of course we can have the Copa Centenario as we wanted to, but I can’t say what CONCACAF wants,” Napout told The Associated Press on the sidelines of a CONMEBOL executive committee meeting.

Napout said he was “very optimistic” about talking with CONCACAF leaders after last month’s CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.

Big opportunity.
1. Best case scenario is that we beat Haiti in home and away and qualify for the Centennial and get top quality exposure for T&T teams and players, motivated to be on the shop window against some South American and Central American World Cup regulars.
2. Worst case scenarion is we lose the home and away, don't qualify for the series but get 2 games of high intensity desperate football, bringing out the best of our players as they try to prepare and get match fit (more than normal) for the all important World Cup qualifiers.
3. One may then ask: Should we negotiate to play Haiti early before the World Cup qualifier openers so that we are super ready for the same qualifiers but possibly risk injuries for World Cup qualifiers or .... should we play Haiti later to try and get better form for the Centenial and have less match practice in the early stages for the (Guatemala or Antigua) opener or USA 2nd game.

What would even make more sense is to grab the top finishers in the Gold cup. No need to drag the teams through another 2 leg series during wcq time. I remember reading that the 2 remaining spots were to go to the top finishers at the Gold cup who are not qualified for the Copa.

It would make perfect sense but we have to live with what we get... Just more prep for Hart... Even if he has to go with a mostly local team.. I think we can do it.. We have to make the best of it... Turn it into a positive

We coulda avoid all dis drama if

1 - Players didn't feel dey had to strike on the eve of the Caribbean Cup final because of long standing f**kries between TTFA and de MOS

2 - We did win de Caribbean Cup

Ah well......de silver lining is...

We getting great prep for the WCQ matches beginning November 13

hope hart takes these games serious

I think he will. Copa Americano is a great opportunity for the players to get international exposure.

The two confederations are hoping that this tournament is a success. If it is a successful, there is a very strong chance it will be held every 4 years.

Is not Hart we have to worry about. Its whether the TTFA and the MoS can take this seriously enough to provide the conditions under which the team can perform to potential.

Copa America 2016 may not be in U.S., says CONMEBOL president Napout
ESPN STAFF

CONMEBOL president Juan Angel Napout is unsure if the 2016 edition of the Copa America will be played in the United States as planned.

In an interview with Paraguayan radio station AM 1080 on Wednesday, the chief of South America's football federation, while indicating the tournament would in fact be played, expressed uncertainty as to where it will be held.

"The 100th anniversary will have a celebration and this will be on the field. We want to have a Copa Centenario, it's on the FIFA calendar and the idea is for it to be played. Whether it will be in the United States? We have to wait for some things to happen, review some things," he said.

The CONMEBOL showpiece had been in doubt because of its connections to the FIFA corruption and bribery scandal that rocked the sport months ago. A U.S. Department of Justice indictment included allegations that more than $100 million in bribes were used to secure the rights to the tournament meant to celebrate the South American governing body's 100th birthday.

Napout said in July that he was "very optimistic" about talking with CONCACAF leaders about staging the event in the U.S., however Wednesday's admission cast further doubt on the prospect of a stateside staging.

The 16-nation Centenario is scheduled June 3-26 and would include the 10 South American national teams and six invited teams from CONCACAF, including the U.S. and Mexico.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

CONCACAF has scrapped the playoff idea (for now). There is a chance we may play another team.

Stay tuned for further updates.

I not surprised. I thought the original plan was to give the top finishers the remaining spots for Copa 2016. It wouldn't have been fair to drag the teams through another 2 leg qualifier. My guess is they will give the two remaining spots to TT and Panama..

Source does not want to be revealed...

The Copa America is in a mess. South American countries don't want the tournament in the US fearing officials will be arrested so the tournament is up in the air.

We'll see.

Got it.

That's even more of a reason to cancel the playoffs. Since the tournament is up in the air, it will make more sense to just choose TT and Panama as the top finishers of the unqualified teams. That way if the tournament is cancelled, then no one can complain about the resources spent to qualify for a tournament that is not going to take place.

I think in the end the tournament will take place in America once the Conmebol officials could get some assurance that they won't be arrested.

From what I heard, if Copa is a success Concacaf and Conmebol will want this tournament played every 4 years. The idea is to rival the Euros and create another revenue stream for Concacaf and Conmebol.
