Defending champion bmobile Joe Public will encounter a must-win situation today when they host 1976 FC Phoenix, in both team’s second-to-last match of the blink/bmobile National Super League, at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya, from 4.30 pm.

In order to stand a chance of retaining the league crown, Joe Public, which sits third, will require all three points against the Tobago outfit, which has suddenly hit form, in one of two rescheduled matches on the day.
 
The “Eastern Lions” trail leader WASA by five points, while second-placed Westside Superstarz sits second by three points.
 
Not only will Joe Public need to win today, but on Sunday, they will also have to take full points when they travel south to face already relegated Club Sando at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella. They too will need WASA to drop points to stand a chance of winning the title for the fifth time.
 
WASA FC which last won the title in 2007, will meet FC Santa Rosa at WASA Ground, St Joseph, while Westside travels to the Maracas Recreation Ground, St Joseph, to face the plucky Real Maracas. All of Sunday’s fixtures will kick off at 3.30 pm.
 
Stokely Vale and Real Maracas will contest today’s other rescheduled match at 4 pm.
