St Anthony's College jumped to fourth spot in the North Zone standings of the 2005 BG T&T Secondary Schools Football League when they got past St Mary's College 2-1 at St Mary's Serpentine Road ground yesterday.


Second half goals by Akil De Freitas and Keron Sutton made sure the 'Tigers' had full points away to the 'Saints', while Kyle Mc Ivor had the consolatory item just before the end of the game for their third loss in five encounters this season.

Also in the North, Mucurapo Senior Comprehensive battered QRC 6-0 at Fatima ground, while Malick edged Tranquility Government Secondary 2-1 at Hasely Crawford Stadium.

In the East, league leaders San Juan Secondary Senior Comprehensive got their fifth win in as many games with a 3-1 triumph away to El Dorado, while Malabar Composite brought home three points after earning a 1-0 win away to Arima.

The next match day is Monday, with two matches in Tobago, while the four zones in Trinidad continue on Wednesday.
