SUMMER ARJOON and Jalene Sobers struck a brace each, as Defence Force kept up its chase of Club Sando with a 5-0 win over Trincity Nationals in local Women’s League Football (WoLF) action.
The pair helped Defence Force rack-up a sixth straight win.
However, leaders Club Sando were ruthless in their 18-0 shutout of cellar-placed University of the West Indies.
In that match, recently-recruited T&T senior national Alexcia Ali scored seven goals while Kayla Prince netted six.
WoLF action continues today.
