FOURTH-from-bottom Leeds United scored a stunning upset in the Premier Division of the Tobago Football League, beating Roxborough Lakers 3-1 at Canaan.

The Leeds victory in Thursday’s match has thrown the race to the title wide open.

But despite their defeat, however, Lakers still top the standings with 32 points from 15 games, same as Bethel United who has played only 14 games and who with a victory over “Giant Killers” Leeds at Plymouth on Wednesday can become sole leaders.

Also in the mix in the race for top honours are Mason Hall USSS who are on 31 points from 15 games.

Kelvon Morris, Valton Brathwaite and Akim James did the damage for Leeds while the prolific Duran Dilworth got the consolarion for the Lakers.

In the other game at the same venue on Thursday, 1976 FC Phoenix and Stokely Vale played to a 0-0 draw.
