DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Petit Valley Diego Martin United (PVDM) were held to a goalless draw by Defence Force but continue to lead Tier 2 of the Trinidad & Tobago Premier Football League (PFL), while Harlem Strikers and Queen’s Park picked up victories on the weekend and moved into second and third, respectively.

Harlem Strikers scored half-a-dozen goals, including a second half double from Kareem Baptiste, on the way to a comprehensive 6-1 win over RSSR FC.

Having picked up a sixth win of the season, Harlem Strikers are now just a point adrift of leaders PVDM (30 points), with Queen’s Park third and two points behind the leaders.

Fatima College schoolboys Aidan De Gannes and Michael Chaves scored as QPCC built a two-goal advantage before holding off San Fernando Giants by a 2-1 margin.

Arkido Joseph converted a late penalty for seventh-placed Giants.
