Clint Marcelle Football Academy and Queen’s Park CC will contest the Media 21 Limited Northern Football Association FA Trophy final after contrasting semifinal wins on Wednesday.
At the St James Infirmary Poor House Ground, Western Main Road, the Cocorite-based Clint Marcelle FA edged last year’s winner Dathea FC 5-4 on penalty-kicks while Queen’s Park whipped Morvant Elements 3-1 at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
The final and third place matches will be played at a date and venue to be decided. Meanwhile, the race for the Big-Four spots in the Premier Division Group A and Group B resumes today with matches from 3.30 pm.
At the end of the 16-round schedule of matches in both groups the top two teams will qualify for the Big-Four series to determine the league champion.
