Blast (Brazil, Las Lomas, Arena, San Raphael, Talparo) Youth Soccer Academy came with tremendous fire power to demolish all its opponents in the U-14 Division of the Waterloo Institute of Soccer Players football fiesta and family day held at the Waterloo Secondary School Ground on November 17.

In the preliminaries, Blast exploded with wins over W Connection (2-1), Carenage United (4-0) and Edinburgh 500 (4-0) and followed it up with a 3-2 triumph over Cox Coaching Schools in the semifinals. In the finals, a recharged Blast FC came away with a 2-0 win over Marabella Family Crisis Centre after the latter had edged Waterloo Institute of Soccer Players, 1-0 in their semifinal meeting.
 
Prior to the tournament, Councillor Dhanraj Saroop, chairman of the Sports Committee of the Couva Tabaquite Talparo Regional Corporation together with president of the Water Institute of Soccer Players, Raymond Jurawan kicked off the day’s activities.
