West Side Stars extended its lead atop Group “B” standings in the Northern Football Association with a commanding 4-1 victory over main challenger Malvern on Sunday at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
West Side Stars, which led 2-0 at half-time, was rewarded with goals by Keron Simon, Brandon Fauntin, Sheldon Taylor and Akil Gilbert.
St Ann’s Rangers moved ahead of Malvern in second spot by whipping St Francois Nationals 3-0 with goals by Kyle and Kareen Davidson and Ian Forde.
West Side Stars, which has 26 points from ten matches, now enjoys a handsome ten point lead over Rangers.
