MASON Hall United SSS and Black Rock United hold a four-point advantage in the Eastern and Western Conferences of the Tobago Football Association, following a win and a draw, respectively, last weekend.

Following a 2-2 draw with mid-table Carnbee/Mt Pleasant, Black Rock lead the Western Conference with 24 points, ahead of their main rivals 1976 FC Phoenix, who have 20 points from nine matches, two less than the leaders.

Former Stokely Vale player Michael Carrington claimed both items for Black Rock.

Deon Melville and Ryan Inniss provided the efforts for Carnbee/Mt Pleasant, fourth in the standings with 11 points.

In the Eastern Conference, Mason Hall United SSS continued to hold down the number one spot in that category.

They scored a comfortable  4-2 triumph over Moriah Youths in a top-of-the-table clash last Thursday on the Training Ground at Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet.

Lex Bovell had a brace and there were goals for Keldon Baker and Caston Cupid for Mason Hall SSS, who have a four-point lead on the chasing pack.

They have so far accumulated 20 points from nine games, with six wins, two draws and a loss.

Eldon Paul and Keegan Proctor hit the mark for Moriah Youths, who held on to the second berth on goal difference over Youth Stars.

Both teams have 16 points from the identical record of a handful of wins, three losses and a drawn affair, but Moriah Youths have a plus-one goal differential compared to Youths Stars' minus-three.

Mason Hall PYC lost ground on the top three after they were surprisingly beaten by bottom-of-the-table team HV Milan 3-2 away at Dusty Park in HopeVillage last Thursday.

Marcano Collette, Kurt Phillips and Travis Gardener all had a hand in Milan's second win of the season.

For Mason Hall PYC, who remained in fourth spot with 15 points, Kevon Adams and Adrian Holder struck the target.

In other results from the last round of matches played in the conferences, Moriah Youths beat Leeds United 3-1 in an Eastern Conference match-up.

Keegan Proctor scored a hat-trick for the winners, while Kursyl Vincent replied for the losers.

Western Conference leaders Black Rock United were also in winner's row last week, when they defeated Lambeau 2-0 at Signal Hill on Thursday.

Michael Carrington and Philroy Douglas registered the items for Black Rock.
