Kevin Eastman netted with seven minutes left as Cunupia FC denied leaders Harlem Strikers a first win in four matches in the CRILLE Central Football Association Premier Division at Frederick Settlement Ground, Caroni, on Tuesday night.

After a 0-0 first-half, Marcus Carimbocas fired Strikers into a 57th minute lead which seemed enough for full points, however Eastman banged in an 87th-minute equaliser to earn Cunupia a share of the points.

With the point earned Strikers pushed its tally to 24 from 13 matches at the top of the 11-team table while Cunupia joined Edinburgh 500 and Enterprise Youths on 20 points each from 11 matches in second.

A day earlier, Sobers cousins, Ernest and Jamal combined for second-half goals to lead Enterprise Youths to a come-from-behind 3-2 triumph over ADL Couva Sports at the Couva Recreation Ground on Monday night. Jason Mills scored in the 21st and 39th minute as Couva Sports looked set for an upset win with a 2-0 lead at the half.

At the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground, Woodford Lodge, Randy Harris banged in a double with goals from David Samuel and Ricardo Cyrus to take Leeds United past Cap Off Youths, 4-1 and into sixth spot with 15 points while last-placed KC Perseverance Ball Runners secured its first win of the season, 3-1 over St Mary’s United.

Neon O’Garro got two for the winners and Duane Brooker, one, while former national youth team striker, Ryan Frederick got St Mary’s lone reply.
