Andre Mayias netted four times, while there was a goal each for speedy Damian Lewis and Colvin Sheppard in Santos' rout of hapless Young Lions, who were losing for the second straight time.

In the first contest, Spain Slappers looked far from impressive when they stopped Petit Bourg Youths 2-0 in a Group B match-up. Richard Hosepadles, formerly of Valtrin United, netted one of the items for Slappers.

They now have two wins and a draw, while Petit Bourg have a record of one win, one loss and a draw. Also last week, the champs registered their third win in as many games in Group A when they prevailed 3-2 over Malabar FC in a game that saw female referee L Morris handing out three red cards, while issuing four yellows.

In between, MAASH lost two of their three goal-scorers--skipper Stevon Stoute and midfielder Tosca Bartholomew–for two yellow card offences, while Malabar's Daniel Julien was given a direct red by referee Morris.

Jessie Martinez netted from close range to send Malabar into the lead halfway through the first period and nearing the end of the half, MAASH were gifted a penalty which Bartholomew converted to level the scoreline going into the break.

On the resumption, the game took on the same pattern as the opening 40 minutes. Both sides continually failed in their attempts to control the flow of the game for any lengthy period, which at times caused the contest to look disjointed.

Malabar, the boys in the all-green kit, managed to forge ahead again 15 minutes into the second period, when substitute Ricardo Cornwall netted to restore their one-goal supremacy at 2-1.

In the remaining minutes, MAASH managed to hit the back of the net twice to secure the win. Providing the items for the Arouca boys were captain Stoute and sub Mark Alliby.

The next night, Bon Air FC maintained their perfect record with a third triumph, compliments of a 2-1 win at the expense of Pacemakers, who never looked as impressive as they did in a convincing 3-1 victory over La Horquetta to start the season.

Gorean Highley and A Hernandez provided the efforts for Bon Air, who enjoyed a 2-0 advantage at the end of the first session, but are still chasing their first title, after five seasons in the EHFL.

Former Arouca Hustlers striker Lance Haynes came on as a substitute and converted a penalty for Pacemakers.

In the first encounter at the EHS that night, newcomers University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) picked up their first point of the campaign, after they battled to a 2-2 draw with 1TTR in a Group A affair.

Kerin Vincent and Yuwiyl Scott netted for UTT, who lost their first fixture to Santos.

Also last week Monday, FC Barca kicked off their season with a comfortable 2-0 win over 1TTR Engineering Battalion. Dwight Crichlow netted both goals for FC Barca.
