Terry Fenwick rejected the use of this scouting network because he said he had his own scouts and connections to locate players in North America and Europe.
Really? If so then it's a damn shame he doesn't have an open mind gain info from a credible source.

Fenwick has a benchmark now, let's see how the team improves. i won't criticize now given the challenges but I agree with MEP, the formation was surprising given the first outing with a newly assembled squad and lack of chemistry.

Nothing shabby when both of your CBs score. Was curious to see how Centeno would reconfigure his back 4 or who Waston would sit.

Stay humble and keep wukkin. KW will smile but he not on no skin teet ting on de field.

So, a question fuh de masses framed as a statement. Name another T&T player that has partnered Waston in central defense. Doh waste too much time. :)

Saw the highlights of the game, he came off the bench and had a shot on target that the keeper had to save. They said he's the youngest player to feature for Sheffield in the Premiership at 16yrs. The way things are going, Sheffield might be relegated this season unless they can seriously turn things around.

Boca vs River tonight, 8:30 pm TT time. Both teams have an almost identical record (Boca has conceded one less). Both teams are averaging 2 goals per match in their favor.
This should be some entertaining football.

Cavani banned for 3 matches and 100,000 pounds.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-9102391/Man-United-striker-Edinson-Cavani-handed-three-match-ban-FA.html

Depends on what they do with the 100K is how I feel about this.
The FA is making an example of Cavani. Other players have been given lesser sanctions for similar offenses.

Q: Was there a Trini on the field/bench?

Only one possibility

Agreed. Maybe he will confirm. :)

He was on the bench, but didn't play. Interestingly, Ray Hudson played and scored in that game. The great Gerd Meuller was also on de field.

This is a tough question without a hint: Who was the first player Best skinned on the way to scoring? Hint: Think Hudson and Hislop.

Dead give-away of a clue.

The suit alone was as you said, was a dead giveaway lol...maybe I should tweet this video to Bien Sports

He should go Minnesota. They need to extend their roster.

Rumor has it that Houston Dynamo and Columbus Crew are interested in his services.

TM is the Adam Schefter of the T&T pro's during free agency :notworthy:

How come local media failed to recognize that Levi was playing against Leicester yesterday. And they reported on the game  :banginghead: :banginghead:
Didn't see the game but checked the line-ups and saw he started as a forward. He came off in the 55th min. Hopefully he caught the eye of Brendan Rodgers and a Leicester scout.

Yea two excellent goals. He sees the space and the #10 was on his wavelength and had the vision to provide him with quality assists. I was hoping they interviewed him after the game since he was man of the match but FOX dropped the ball. Seattle in the conference final on Monday night, should be another good one.

Leeds have been playing some entertaining football. They haven't been backing down from any opponent either. I know most of us on here mainly watch the top 6 clubs but checkout Leeds, you'll be in for a treat.

Big respect to Napoli. HBO has an excellent documentary on Diego Maradonna where they give insight to the life of Diego, the footballer and Maradonna the celebrity. It shows how his life turned upside down with the nightly partying and drugs through the influence of the mafia in Naples. What was impressive was how he turned Napoli into a European powerhouse when they were considered to be a joke in Italian football.

I was surprised by that move to Napoli. I thought it would be either, AC, Inter or Juve, not Naples.
Yea it was a slap in the face move by Barca to teach him a lesson it felt like, and the fact they prolly didn't want to send him to a big club that would've been dominant with him on the team.

Am I missing something here? Wasn't most of the mismanagement (a key reason for our piss poor performances) done by the Williams led administration? Why don't they go after them as well?

Hold on hold on before we begin yuh celebrate pound chest and start the parade, could some  we get a statement from FIFA as to what was the justifiable cause for them to appoint a normalization committee in the first place?  What could have been so drastic in the  four months of the new administration to warrant FIFA' Draconian measures? Consider all the misadventures and mis guided decisions  by the previous administration?
And in FIFA' statement " regretfully........blah blah". Laying blame on the TTFA administration. Does anyone hold FIFA accountable  for their actions? What becomes of alleged deals around the HOF?
So their is a collective sigh of relief- ban lifted  we get  to participate and our brethens in the Caribbean can now talk to us wow!!!!
Lessons to be learnt - don't Fck with those in power especially if you are a minnow - moral of this whole stinking saga. So while some may be jumping with glee consider the ultimate price we are subjected too- pawns on display for FIFA to display - explicit tyranny and  autocratic rule  by any means necessary -
Summed it up nicely.

Yes. The referee is supposed to ensure the goalkeepers are ready but communicating with them before kick-off. Must be a hometown ref ;D

The life of a professional footballer can be cruel (in fact is cruel for most) and often often affect players mentally. One of the reason's I try not to go in too hard on players performance because you never know what's happening behind the scenes.

I noticed in Kamala's victory speech with Biden she acknowledged her husband, sister, nieces and deceased mother....no mention of her living father. Is it bad like that?

Maybe it bad like that. It is what it is. That is the luck of the draw when parents split and there is no type of connection between siblings. We don't know the whole story with her father. He was not in their life and that is just it. She almost parallels Barak situation with his father.

You're right. I wasn't trying to speculate and didn't know the situation, was just surprised when he wasn't mentioned.
